4. ANALYTICAL METHODS AND CALCULATIONS

 

The analytic methods and calculations are described below. The system descriptions are based design information obtained from the Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant. Table 1 summarizes the variable trips, logical trips, and control variables used in the control system descriptions. A page of listing all control variables, trips, and tables follows Table 1. Sections 4.1 through 4.11 discuss the development of the control logic.
