
The reactor safety relief valves are attached to the steam line piping to protect the reactor from over-pressure conditions. The 8 fast acting steam dump valves (SDV-C type) discharge into the turbine condenser during over-pressure conditions. Similar to the MSVs, the high pressure header ring off the steam lines is not modeled. Half (four) the SDV-C valves are connected to the LHS and half are on the RHS of the steam line.
