Ignalina Source Book


The compilation of design and operational data for a nuclear power plant built by the highly centralized Soviet Union turned out to be a sizable undertaking. It would not have been possible without the cooperation and help a large number of people. We would like to acknowledge the valuable assistance rendered in collecting the data by Dr. B. Česna. At the plant valuable advise was offered by Director V. Shevaldin and Production Manager G. Negrivoda, help was provided by Mr. A. Dvorecky, Mr. G. Zheltobriuch and his staff, especially by B. Dizik.
