On the 8th of November 2018 representatives of “Lietuvos energija” UAB: Director-General Mr. Darius Maikštėnas, Head of Innovations and Cooperation Department Mr. Vytautas Kieras as well as Head R&D Projects Manager Mr. Paulius Kozlovas visited Lithuanian Energy Institute. LEI Director Dr. Sigitas Rimkevičius briefly introduced R&D activities performed at the institute. Representatives of LEI, Dr. Virginijus Radziukynas, Dr. Arvydas Galinis and Dr. Darius Milčius presented their research activities of interest to the company “Lietuvos Energija” UAB, such as: energy accumulation, primary, secondary and tertiary power reserve, demand side response, etc.
Guests also visited several LEI laboratories and were introduced to energy storage related R&D projects in metal hydrides, carried out at LEI Center for Hydrogen Energy Technologies.
