On 20th April, 2017, a meeting of Lithuanian Energy Institute Scientific Council took place. Achievements and future activities of the Institute’s Open Access Centre and Santaka Valley were reviewed and discussed during the meeting. Prices for doctoral studies for academic year 2017-2018, as well as commission members for selection of candidates for Prof. R. Viskanta Award were confirmed. Renewed edition of Institute’s Publications Evaluation Criteria as well as renewed Procedure for Assignation of Heads of Scientific Divisions were discussed. R. Urbonas and A. Tamošiūnas presented the Council with information regarding highlights of research work ordered by Lithuanian and foreign companies, steps for successful future Science and Business cooperation were discussed.
