LEI was visited by a representative of the Center for Energy Research from Hungary

On December 12-14th Aron Hegedus, a representative of the “Center for Energy Research” from Hungary, visited the Lithuanian Energy Institute, who presented LEI scientists with the experimental research conducted at the Hungarian Research Center related to natural circulation cooling. During the visit, the guest was introduced to the LEI laboratories and the activities. The researchers also visited the Kaunas cogeneration power plant.

LEI and the Center for Energy Research are conducting a bilateral project of the Lithuanian and Hungarian Academies of Science on the topic “Contribution to the development of Small Modular Reactor concepts for the European Union”. LEI representatives went to Budapest on October 16-19th in accordance with this project.
