LEI’s project is among 15 projects funded by the 2024-2025 Lithuania-Ukraine Cooperation Program

One of the projects funded by the 2024-2025 Lithuania-Ukraine Cooperation Program is the Lithuanian Energy Institute’s project. The project, titled “Smart Grid Model for the Operational Management of Distribution Networks Based on Artificial Intelligence Methods,” is led by Dr. Virginijus Radziukynas, Head of Smart Grids and Renewable Energy Laboratory.

The program’s goal is to develop and promote bilateral cooperation in the field of science and technology.

The Research Council of Lithuania and the Ukrainian Ministry of Education and Science announce bilateral research projects through competitions. These competitions are held once every two years, as part of the collaboration program in science and technology between the Ministry of Education, Science, and Sport of the Republic of Lithuania and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (LUP).
