Researchers planning to apply for a European Research Council (ERC) Advanced Grant are invited to participate in the webinar “Towards an ERC Advanced Grant: from groundbreaking idea to successful proposal”. The event is organized by ERC National Contact Points as part of the “mERCury” project.

During the seminar, participants will learn how to formulate an innovative ERC research idea and gain a better understanding of the ERC proposal evaluation process. The programme includes discussions and presentations on the concept of ERC frontier research, as well as an overview of the ERC evaluation procedure.

ERC Advanced Grant holders from different scientific domains—Social Sciences and Humanities (SH), Physical Sciences and Engineering (PE), and Life Sciences (LS)—will also share their experiences. Representatives of the European Research Council Executive Agency (ERCEA) and members of ERC evaluation panels will take part in the event.
