Use for

Equipment is designed for measurement of nitrogen, oxygen, and hydrogen amount in a wide variety of metals and other inorganic materials, employing the inert gas fusion principle. Also equipment has possibility to determine gas release from surface contaminated sample which is achieved by pre-treatment of sample with various gas mixtures prepared by special gas premixer.

  • Instrument measurement range at 1 gram Oxygen: not worse than from 0.05 ppm to 5.0%; for Nitrogen: not worse than from 0.05 ppm to 3.0%; for Hydrogen: not worse than from 0.1 ppm to 0.250%;
  • Precision for Oxygen: not less than 0.025 ppm or 0.5% RSD (whichever is greater); for Nitrogen: not less than 0.025 ppm or 0.5% RSD (whichever is greater); for Hydrogen: not less than 0.05 ppm or 2.0% RSD (whichever is greater);
  • Display readability for Oxygen: not less than 0.001 ppm; for Nitrogen: not less than 0.001 ppm; for Hydrogen: not less than 0.001 ppm;
  • Cycle Time (includes purge/outgas/analysis) for Oxygen: not more than 100 seconds nominal; for Nitrogen: not more than 120 seconds nominal; for Hydrogen: not more than 110 seconds nominal;
  • Furnace has adequate working parameters (power, working temperatures, etc.) to successfully implement foreseen measurements;
  • Humidity control:  ability to strictly control gas mixture humidity by drying and/or wetting.
