This form is used for various requests of doctoral students (to grant academic leave, to allow to continue studies after the end of academic leave, to provide support for research visits, etc.). Coordinated with the Scientific Supervisor, Head of the Department, submitted to the Studies Administrator.
- Application for Admission to doctoral studies (F2-PA-04)
Filed by the Candidate for doctoral studies. Submited to the LEI Studies Administrator.
- Doctoral Study and Research programme (F5-PA-04)
To be filed by the Doctoral Student together with the Research Supervisor during the first month of doctoral studies. The signed Programme is submitted to the Studies Administrator. Approved by the LEI Doctoral Commission and by the Doctoral Committee of the Research Field.
- Report on Doctoral Study and Research Programme implementation (F7-PA-04)
To be filed by the doctoral student twice a year, at the end of each semester. On the basis of this report, the doctoral Student’s research activities are evaluated by the doctoral student’s Department, the LEI Doctoral Commission and the Doctoral Committee of the Research Field. The signed report is submitted to the Studies Administrator.
- Updated Doctoral Study and Research Programme (F8-PA-04)
To be filed by the Doctoral Student and Supervisor at the end of each spring semester, and for the following semester and/or the end of the autumn semester if changes are foreseen. Approved by the LEI Doctoral Commission and approved by the Doctoral Committee of the Research Field. The signed report is submitted to the Studies Administrator.

The Regulation lays down the procedures for admission to joint research doctoral studies, the supervision of doctoral students, the assessment of Doctoral Studies and the doctoral student’s knowledge, abilities and skills, the implementation of the doctoral student’s research, the preparation, examination and defence of a dissertation, the issuing of the doctoral diploma, the postponement of a doctoral student’s attestation and assessment deadlines, the review of an external student’s application for dissertation defence, the examination of appeals and complaints, the funding of Doctoral Studies and document storage.
