Webinar: “Get inspired and get aboard: Everything you need to know about 2023–2024 ERA calls”
We are pleased to invite you to the webinar on the 2023–2024 calls of “Reforming and enhancing the European R&I system in Horizon Europe”. The webinar will take place on 12 January at 10:00–12:30 (CET) in MS Teams. Please register in the form below until 11 January 2023, 12:00 CET.
In this webinar you will learn about the relevant context – European Research Area (ERA) and its goals as well as main things you need to know about the calls´ topics and applying. Additionally, two successful applicants will share their experience and tips. All in all, you will learn everything you need to know to get inspired and get aboard.
This event will not be recorded, the presentations will be sent to the participants after the event.

This event is a joint event of the WIDERA National Contact Points (NCP) from Croatia, Estonia, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania and is aimed at potential applicants from these countries.

The ERA calls – Reforming and enhancing the EU research and innovation system – are part of the work programme “Widening participation and strengthening the European Research Area”. The funding schemes are coordination and support actions, dedicated to enhancing the R&I systems in EU and its member states as a common effort. It covers a wide range of topics, from translating the R&I results into the economy, improving higher education institutions´ access to excellence (and empower their institutional development) as well as deepening the ERA by supporting development and uptake of best practices on topics like open science, citizen science, science education, gender, ethics. It also aims at supporting free and more balanced circulation of knowledge, its creation and use.

Are you interested in research and innovation funding opportunities in the area of Food, Bioeconomy, Natural resources, Agriculture and Environment? Then don’t miss the Horizon Europe (HE) Cluster 6 Info days about the Work Programme 2023. This Work Programme includes 100 topics proposing over 880 Millions of EU funding to support the best actions.
This event will be on-line. It will be web-streamed live and recorded for later reference.
Participants will be able to ask questions via Slido during the event, and meaningful time will be devoted to address them live.
The overall programme includes:
- An insight on the policy context
- Pitches for each of the 100 topics from the Work programme 2023
- A ‘key-to-success’ session focused on guidance and tips for quality proposals

NCP4Industry, the network of Cluster 4 – Industry National Contact Points is organising a brokerage event with pre-arranged online Face2Face meetings complementing the European Commission’s Horizon Europe Information Day on Cluster 4 – Digital, Industry & Space with a 2023 deadline.

The info day will focus on the 2023 calls of the Work programme 2023-2024, for its main destinations.
Horizon Europe’s Research Infrastructures actions support the development of an integrated, inter-operable and effective ecosystem of Research Infrastructures and Technology Infrastructures in Europe. The info day will focus on the 2023 calls of the Work programme 2023-2024, for its different destinations:
- INFRADEV – aiming to develop, consolidate and optimise the European research infrastructures landscape, and maintain global leadership
- INFRASERV – offering Research Infrastructures services to support health research, accelerate the green transition and digital transformation, and advance frontier knowledge
- INFRATECH – targeting the development of the next generation of scientific instrumentation, tools, methods, and advanced digital solutions for Research Infrastructures
- INFRAEOSC – aiming to enable an operational, open and FAIR European Open Science Cloud ecosyste

The European Innovation Council Work Programme 2023 will be presented in this full-day online event on 13 December 2022 dedicated to potential applicants, together with an overview of what has already been achieved under the previous work programmes
Join us at the upcoming European Innovation Council online Info Day – Work Programme 2023 !
The European Innovation Council, with a budget of €10.1 billion (2021-2027), is already playing an important role in the European innovation ecosystem. It supports researchers and entrepreneurs throughout their journey from the idea to the market and nurturing deep tech innovations.
During the upcoming Info Day, our experts will talk about the main novelties of the EIC Work Programme 2023, but also about the results achieved until today. In addition, speakers will provide an overview about three main funding schemes provided by EIC:
EIC Pathfinder: for advanced research on breakthrough or game-changing technologies;
EIC Transition: for transforming research results into innovation opportunities;
EIC Accelerator: for individual companies to develop and scale up breakthrough innovations with high risk and high impact.
